I got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk. When I asked them who my internet provider was, they seemed totally lost. I tried explaining it a few times, but they just didn't catch on. I told them straight up that if they can’t even tell who my ISP is (it’s not TalkTalk, but apparently there’s some link), then they’re probably up to no good. I ended up getting calls from loads of different numbers. Every time I called back to check if it was a scam, the line just wouldn’t connect. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.
