Consumer lifestyle. Gotta admit, about a decade ago i was daft enough to answer their questions. What a numpty i was. After that, my phone was bombarded with calls from every charity under the sun, plus house insurance, car insurance, holiday insurance, you name it. My list of blocked numbers is massive now. My advice: just dont pick up their calls, block them straight away. That’s my approach now, if i don’t recognise the number, i leave it. Check it here, then block if needed. You only realise stuff like this the hard way.

some guy with an accent talking really quick rang me. he called me by a name i stopped using over a decade ago and mentioned an old address too. i fired loads of questions at him and he just hung up. quite enjoyed messing with him!

I didnt pick up the phone, but since it’s been checked 59 times and there’s like me plus 5 others looking at it here right now, you have to ask yourself if this caller is up to something dodgy. Not saying it’s for sure a scam, but I’ve just blocked the number to be on the safe side.
