Got a call from someone claiming there was a dodgy transaction on my credit card. Then they put me through to a bloke who said his name was Charles Wilson from “the Fraud Squad.” He wanted to know if I had my “paper bank statement” nearby to check my details. When I asked which card he was talking about, he just said “visa plastic.” Once I told him it seemed fishy, he just cut the call.
