They rang me thrice today, if you can believe it! The background noise was absolutely deafening! A foreign chap asked me to confirm my name and address, and when I pressed him for reasoning, he got quite flustered and didn't seem to grasp my queries at all. He assured me that the call was about an UPGRADING BROADBAND initiative-saying it wasn't a sales pitch, merely a survey. Before I could interject, he launched into a tirade about some new fibre upgrades happening in our locale! I barely managed to get a word in to express my disinterest. To top it all off, he mentioned he’d be back to ring me later. I’d definitely call this ‘harassment’!
