I got a call from someone named Julie who claimed she was ringing from BT about my internet. When I asked her to prove she was with BT by telling me the last four digits of my account, she just paused the call and went silent. After waiting a bit, I decided to end the call.

twice now, I've had calls from a woman who wanted to talk to me by name. When I asked who she was, she hung up straight away. She’s called a couple more times since then but I haven’t answered, and there’s never been any voicemail left.
