Got a call from someone claiming my car was involved in an accident, sounded like a total scam to me.

It was a total scam, so whatever you do, don’t hand over any banking info or mess with your PC. And seriously, don’t just say yes or no to their questions. Honestly, the best way to deal with them is to just blow a whistle into the phone - it throws them right off!
