Did you realise Amazon scams ended up costing people £400,000 last year? A guy called Paul rang me up saying I'd been lucky enough to get 10 free lottery ticket numbers sent to me in the post. He tried to chat and already knew my name and where I live. Then he pushed for me to sign up to a monthly lottery subscription and kept asking why I refused. I didn’t explain, just said no and hung up.
