Caller claimed they were with Amazon, but why were they ringing from a Barnsley number? They said my Prime subscription was on hold and they’d take £99 to sort it. Problem is, I don’t even use Amazon, never mind have Prime! They asked me to press 1 or 2 to either cancel the payment or speak to an agent. I just left it hanging, and after a short pause the call dropped. Seems like this scam is back again!
