On the 7th of August at around 3:27pm, my phone showed a missed call from this number.

Some woman with an American accent called me, sounded quite lively, and gave her name - which I've forgotten now. She mentioned something about internet services, but I ended the call straight away. They never rang back, so I’m guessing it’s not worth trusting.

Never leaves a voicemail or anything. Really annoying because I don’t know who it is unless I call back.

Got another call from this area code, the second time now. Both times it was a dodgy recorded message saying there’s an issue with my internet and to press 1 or 2 to get through. The first one mentioned “BT,” but this time it was just some vague “your internet provider” thing. Watch out folks, they seem to be getting smarter with their tricks.

Somebody rang and said my BT internet was about to get cut off right away because of all these hackers from abroad messing around. They told me to hit 1 to sort it, but of course I just ignored it. Plus, I don't even have BT for my internet in the first place.
