This person called claiming to be from Three and started asking about my account. I told them I’m not with Three at all. Then they tried to ask which network I’m with. I flipped it and said, since they called me and sounded like they knew a lot, maybe they can tell me. After a bit of going back and forth, they just said sorry for bothering me and I hung up. The whole thing felt really odd. No doubt this is a SCAM. Never share your personal info with callers like this. If you think they’re genuinely nice and just curious, you’re seriously mistaken.

I picked up the phone, and at first there was nothing but silence. Then I heard some faint background noises like a busy call centre for a couple of seconds before it went dead quiet and they hung up. I've blocked the number now.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, and he was quite polite. He seemed to already know my name and where I live, which was a bit odd. He asked me some questions, like whether I own a dog, if I have life insurance, and about private health cover. He also wanted to know what type of washing machine I had, how old it was, and if I’m renting from the council or privately. I can't quite remember if there was anything else, but he also enquired about my age group. Surprisingly, he didn’t seem interested in probing for personal details, which was a relief.

Got a call from this number a bit earlier, but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know who it was. Funny thing is, I’ve saved the number for a while but it seems like it’s been passed around or sold to lots of scammers. Honestly, I get calls like that all the time now, probably several a week. I really wish the authorities would do something about these scam calls and shut them down, they’re such a pain.
