I received a call from someone inquiring about a chap named Donald Gibbon. When I informed them that they had the wrong number, they promptly disconnected. I decided to redial, but all I got was a pre-recorded message stating that the number I had called was not valid. Quite peculiar!

I should mention that they never bother to leave any voicemail.

I finally admitted that I was just taking up his time, to which he snapped back, "Well, so is everyone else!" before slamming the phone down. Absolutely priceless!

I've received the identical call not long ago. When they asked about my wife, I cheekily mentioned that her crack's gone all mouldy. They were so curious, asking for specifics! Aside from my mates, the sole entity possessing my phone number is the EE network provider. I imagine that's not a widespread situation for most folks, which definitely helps pinpoint where my number may have leaked from. I'm at a bit of a loss as to how else it ended up in the wrong hands. Perhaps it's friends of someone working there or maybe they've sold a list? I’d really love to uncover the truth behind it.
