I got a call from a guy with a heavily Indian accent, claiming there was an issue with my computer and that someone had hacked into it. He asked if I was at my PC right then. Since I was just sitting having my breakfast, I thought I’d humour him while I waited for my cereal to be ready. He told me to find the control key on my keyboard and asked what key was beside it. I said ‘6’ by mistake, then repeated it when he didn’t catch it, and he just hung up. Are people really still getting caught out by this kind of stuff?

I got a call from this number and a woman with an Asian accent was on the line, claiming she was from my internet provider about some issue with my computer. I joked that I was about to get a new computer, but she kept saying she had my computer. After that, I told her I actually work as an IT manager, then she just cut the call.

Some bloke with an Indian accent gave me a ring. He didn’t mention exactly which company he was representing but said it was something to do with my computer. When I asked if he meant a particular device and who owned it, he just cut me off right there. Bit cheeky if you ask me!

So this Indian lady called me about my laptop and when I told her I didn’t need any computer help, she started freaking out and yelling at me not to hang up. Total scam, watch out!

I received a call from this number at around 3:50pm on 22nd December. There were some background noises that sounded like an office, then a guy with an Asian accent just said "hello." I asked who they were trying to reach - I find it's a handy trick to see if they're genuinely calling you or just hoping someone clueless picks up. The bloke suddenly went silent, so I hung up, but the call didn't actually disconnect! I'll just leave it hanging, hoping it might make him stop ringing other people.

Had a call from a lady speaking with an Asian accent, said she was from "IT support" about some issues with my PC. I politely put the phone down on her.

I got a missed call from this number, but when I tried ringing back it just said the number isn’t available. I wouldn’t have really cared if it wasn’t for the fact I've got mates in Bath and thought maybe it was one of them trying to reach me.
