I received a rather dubious phone call where the person on the other end insisted they were from BT and that my computer was supposedly facing issues due to some “foreign internet activity.” Naturally, I was a bit sceptical and requested a callback number. However, after being passed around to two different representatives, they completely dodged my request and wouldn't provide any details. That's when I decided enough was enough and ended the call. Later, I used 1471 to trace the number.
