Got a dodgy call about roof insulation when we don’t even have a roof, just a ground floor flat. Proper clueless, they didn’t bother checking. Blocked ’em straight away.

I got a call from "Alex" but it’s just one of those automated voice things. As soon as you try to ask something, it just plays back a recorded message. Definitely seems like one of those scams trying to fish for info, no real chat at all!

Got a quiet call, not sure if it was that Tom bloke from the insulation company or just some prank. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if he even exists. If he calls back, I’m thinking of asking stuff he wouldn’t have in his usual recorded spiel, just to see what happens for a laugh.

They kept phoning me non stop every day, but as soon as I answered my voicemail it would stop ringing. Eventually, I tried ringing them back but all I got was a click and no actual ringing sound.

Got a call from someone saying it was about 'the loft insulation you had done' and that it might be causing mould and damp. They wanted to set up a free survey. While badly fitted insulation actually can cause these problems, the guy, who called himself Tom, never really said who he was working for, and the phone number he used doesn't match any legitimate business I could find. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Had a run-in this morning with someone who said his name was "Tom". He was all about loft insulation and kept sticking to the same lines, wouldn't hear me out. Kept insisting our number was already on "their database" or something. Mentioned I'd be flagging him up to the TPS. This loft insulation call isn’t new to us, but blaming damage on condensation? That's a fresh excuse!
