Got a missed call about PPI, so I called back and as soon as they answered, someone started with "I'm contacting you about your PPI." I said, "I rang you back, and it’s pretty clear this is just a spam call, so bye then." I do sympathise with folks who have to do that kind of work for a living though.

Got a call from this number after I posted an ad on Gumtree. Seems like they're just hunting through ads for numbers. Told the bloke on the phone to "Get lost!" and that seemed to shut him up pretty quick. What a load of tossers.

Sounds like a call centre to me. They rang both my mobile and landline one after the other. When I tried to ring back, all I got was a recorded message saying they were shut.

Got a call from someone saying they were with a finance or credit company. The woman sounded like she was from South Wales, so I reckon it was from the UK. She just kept pushing their services, but I ended the call pretty quick.
