Just like someone else mentioned, I rang back a withheld number and ended up speaking to the same American woman. I've decided to block the number now to avoid any more calls.

So, this woman called me and said she was Katie from Save the Day, sounded like she was talking from some call centre in Asia. She actually knew my name, which threw me off a bit. I asked her if she knew who Jeremy Corbyn was, she just said no. After that, I told her thanks for the call and then hung up.

This number has been ringing me every day for the past week, anyone else getting calls from it?

I've had three calls with just silence on the other end over the last couple of days, one even really late at night. Definitely planning to block that number. I wouldn't risk ringing back unknown numbers either, fears of hidden charges and all that!

So, I called them back but hid my number first. This cheerful American guy picks up and says if you want to be removed from their list, just give them your name and number. He promised they’d stop calling within 72 hours. Then he cheerfully thanked me and wished me a brilliant day! Quite the polite bunch, I must say!

It says the number is from Bath in England, but if you ring it from a withheld number, it shows up as being from Scotland. Also, the first comment on here is actually mine too.
