I received a call from a chap claiming to be from a call centre, stating that he had attempted to reach me numerous times concerning an old line of credit. I informed him that I had no interest and promptly ended the conversation. To be honest, I doubt he’d made those previous attempts; if he had, I would have certainly put him on my blocked list by now.

I noticed a missed call from this number, so I decided to return the call, thinking it might be linked to a mate of mine who's working in Bath. An automated voice greeted me first, saying I’d be passed on to an agent. Then, this rather confrontational chap picked up. When I inquired about the identity of the organisation, he insisted on knowing why I was asking. I mentioned the missed call, and he launched into a spiel about some supposed missed payment owed to me. I promptly requested that he remove my number from their database, after which he abruptly ended the call. Quite an unpleasant experience, if you ask me!

I’ve only just got my hands on a shiny new SIM card that’s never seen the light of day, and lo and behold, I get a call from this 0122 number today! It’s quite baffling, isn’t it? How on earth are they managing to get hold of these digits? It’s utterly infuriating that no one seems to be putting a stop to these nuisances, holding them accountable for their mindless antics. It’s beyond exasperating!
