I seem to have fallen victim to an energy con. Just yesterday, I received a call from a woman asserting she was representing British Gas. Oddly enough, today she’s purporting to work for E.ON! What a shambles!

I've encountered a rather dubious phone call from someone claiming to represent British Gas, attempting to renew my electricity and gas contracts. This originated from Bath, and it left me feeling quite suspicious!

Saying they're from Eon, but I reckon it's just a scam. Some foreign-sounding individual insisting they're calling from Bath, England – doesn’t sit right with me at all!

What a classic scam! I had a call from someone claiming to be from Eon, a Pakistani chap asking how I was doing. Just goes to show, there are right dodgy characters out there. They're like the blemishes on the backside of society!

Received a call that claimed to be from Bath, but it’s likely a spoofed number. They didn’t bother leaving a message after I hung on the line. Based on what others have said, I’ve got a strong suspicion it’s a scam.

Received a call from 01225535054, and it’s undoubtedly a scam. This dreadful individual is preying on the vulnerable, attempting to con them out of their hard-earned cash. I can only wish for their comeuppance; they truly deserve it for exploiting others so shamelessly.

A chap rang up claiming to be Ian, stating he was reaching out regarding loft insulation. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I decided to block the number.

What a dodgy insulation scam! Some bloke named Matt rang me up claiming to be an Energy Advisor. He went off on a tangent about loft insulation and insisted it was all “complimentary.” I mean, come on! Nothing's ever truly "free" in the UK, is it? I simply ended the call!

I received a call regarding loft insulation services. At first, I thought it might be worth entertaining the conversation, but things took a turn when they began to probe for my personal details. Seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

I received a call whilst I was on the road, so I couldn't pick up. To be honest, I wouldn't have answered anyway, as I tend to ignore numbers that aren't saved in my contacts or ones that I don't recognise. They hung up without leaving a message, which made me think it might be a dodgy call. My phone flagged it as a suspected scam, and after checking this site, it looks like I was right about it.
