I believe that cold calling is being conducted through a number generator. It appears to be coming from a mobile phone provider linked to three.

I’ve been absolutely inundated with calls from this mobile phone dealer trying to sell me a budget contract. They’ve rung us so many times while I’m on the job, it’s become quite intrusive. The staff are incredibly rude and could care less when you ask them to stop calling or when you try to lodge a complaint. Honestly, I’m baffled as to how they even got hold of our number in the first place.

I reckon this number belongs to the phone insurance company. We made it crystal clear that we had no intention of taking out any insurance when we got our phone from Phones4U. Yet, these blokes have rung us four or five times now, persistently trying to sell us insurance. Each time, I’ve told them to take our number off their list, but they keep ringing. We’ve decided to just ignore their calls now.
