Got a call from the same number not long ago, reckon it’s happened before too. It was some automated bloke with a British accent saying there’s an issue with my BT landline and internet, threatening to cut it off. The message told me to press 1 to fix it or press 2 to just let it get disconnected. Sounded dodgy to me. I just hit the button to end the call and hung up. That kind of message would freak a few folks out and they might end up pressing a button and getting scammed.
