Today, I received a call from this number, and it was just a pre-recorded message claiming to be from the tax office. They mentioned that they'd be in touch again. I tried calling back, only to hear the same automated spiel, which led me to believe it's a scam. I've since blocked the number without a second thought!

What a load of rubbish! This is clearly dodgy and I'm not taking any chances. I've put them on my block list.

Received a call supposedly from the Citizens Advice Bureau aiming to discuss a debt management plan. I've since blocked the number after toying with them a bit during the conversation.

It seems like I've been getting a slew of calls from what appears to be a dodgy call centre based in India. They’ve been less than honest, to put it mildly. I would strongly recommend cutting them off entirely. Just block every single one of them!

I received a call from a chancer purporting to be from Tenant Services. They hung up on me as soon as I mentioned that I'm homeless due to being on the run—accused of offing dodgy telemarketers!

Home Repairs (abroad). He hung up after a mere 43 seconds of tuning into my blaring radio. This was the first time I’ve received a call from this dodgy number. Clearly a scam.

I picked up a call from this number, and with a bit of cheek, I quipped, "Make me a winner!" To which the response was an irate, "Yes, you absolute muppet!" Seems like the caller wasn't having the best of days—perhaps they struggled to find someone to con!
