I received a rather concerning phone call from a woman with an English accent who claimed to be representing Amazon. She informed me that my subscription to Amazon Prime had been renewed for a hefty charge of £95. The call offered me the option to press either 1 or 2, presumably to take further action. I chose to do absolutely nothing in response and, lo and behold, the line went dead after about half a minute. It definitely struck me as one of those dodgy scams aimed at fishing for one's banking details.
