I came across "L&C Independent Mortgage Brokers," but I've got to wonder just how independent they really are when HSBC seems to have such a strong link to the number. You know, the "Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation" and all that! It’s hard not to feel suspicious—surely it must be above board, right? 😂

This morning, I received a call on my mobile while I was out and about. They left me a voicemail urging me to return the call regarding a mortgage deal. It’s obviously a scam since I don’t even possess a mortgage! They provided a toll-free number to get back to them, which I'm sure is just a ruse to charge me a fortune. Unbelievable!

I reckon it might have been some sort of marketing nuisance or something along those lines. They rang me earlier but didn't bother to leave a message, so I've no clue who they were! Obviously, it wasn't anything of significance. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.
