I checked using 1471 and saw this number had called me. When I called back, an older lady, who spoke very clearly, answered but seemed completely unaware of why I'd rung.

It’s a relief to finally find out who’s been calling, but it’s really bothering me that they’re using a landline. I’ve already had 3 calls, two of them hitting me at 9pm in the evening, and another one in broad daylight. They definitely don’t seem interested in leaving my number alone anytime soon.

Got a call from this number and when I picked up, the line just went silent. I checked 1471 afterwards and it showed the same number called. I phoned back, and a lady from Bristol picked up but said she wasn’t aware of any call. Strange!

Some sort of accident helpline, I think. The voice sounded like it was coming from abroad.

Got a call from some accident claim company - pretty sure it was a call centre overseas. Told them I don’t drive and have never been in an accident. When I asked them to stop ringing me, the bloke muttered something nasty, but with all the noise in the background, I couldn’t quite catch what he said.

I got a call from a bloke saying there’d been a car crash and asked how he got my number. I told him I didn’t know and he said the car company gave it to him. When I rang the number back, a lady answered and said it was a private line and she'd just had a call from someone else about the same thing. Don’t really understand how they’re using what looks like a home number - it was the one I saw on 1471 anyway.
