Got a message from someone claiming to be Jennifer Brown at the Inland Revenue saying it was urgent. They said if me or my lawyer didn’t respond, there would be serious consequences. Ended with ‘goodbye and take care’ which was a bit odd. I really hope no one gets fooled by this or feels scared. I didn’t bother returning the call.

I got a call from a recorded message with an American accent saying I owed HMRC money and threatened legal action. Don’t pick up or ring them back, and make sure to notify HMRC about the number. Loads of people are getting these types of scam calls lately.
