We received two calls from this number. Initially, someone claimed to be from EDF and mentioned needing to discuss utilities. Then, about 45 minutes later, we got another call from the same number, but this time the chap was spruiking British Gas. I found it rather amusing and pointed out that the earlier caller, from EDF, had already contacted us. The blokes’ excuse was that he was still in training, and he seemed a bit flustered over the mix-up. He went on to say he was “Sam's brother's cousin” and that they’d reach out again soon. It's baffling though - how can you claim to be in training yet not know where you’re meant to be working? Quite the muddle!

Today, we've received two calls at our place of business from a number claiming to be from British Gas. However, the manner in which the caller conducted himself left no doubt in my mind that this was not a legitimate call from British Gas. During their second attempt to reach me, I informed the caller that I'd done a bit of digging into the number and had come across numerous reports of scams where individuals impersonate various energy firms. Upon realising I was onto him, he suddenly switched to speaking in a foreign tongue and promptly disconnected the call.

Hello there!
I just had a rather suspicious call from this number, purporting to be from eonnext. They were asking for sensitive details like my bank information to supposedly renew my contract. I decided to reach out to eonnext directly at their main number, 08085015200, and it turns out that none of their teams are involved in any such operations. Definitely sounds dodgy to me!

I received a rather dodgy call today from a chap purporting to be from EDF. He inquired about my energy contract, and when I mentioned that I was all set with British Gas and quite happy, he turned quite nasty and brash. It's beyond obvious that this fella is up to no good; EDF would never operate in such an unprofessional manner!

Total scam artists! Rang me claiming to be from EDF in Canary Wharf, stating that my contract's about to expire. Quite amusing, really, as I've still got a whole year left with British Gas. I ended up having a lengthy conversation for half an hour, deliberately making him repeat himself and spell out the trickier terms. What a bunch of lowlifes!

Received a call from this number and there’s utter silence on the other end! It’s those pesky folks who continually try to persuade us to switch our electricity provider. They change their number so frequently; it’s like a game of hide and seek. Oh, what a world we live in!
