Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with Microsoft, asking for me by my proper name. I played along and said I was an officer with the Met Police, trying to get details about how he was connected to a recent murder victim. Asked him for his details and he said his name was Peter Brown from South Africa. I told him we’d be arranging an extradition warrant for him soon, on which he quickly ended the call. Total scammer, obviously.
