I’ve had this number ringing me multiple times daily over the last few weeks. Occasionally, there’s a person on the line, but most of the time it’s an automated message claiming to be from BT, warning that my internet is under attack! It’s starting to feel like proper harassment. Normally, I don’t pick up calls unless it’s from people I know and never answer questions or make purchases over the phone. Still, these calls are really annoying, especially when I’m expecting an important call.

Got a call at 11:30 am from 01224 980036 but I didnt pick up since the number looked unfamiliar. Also, my laptop popped up with a weird, interrupted message that seemed like a scam, so I ignored it. The accent on the voicemail sounded like it might be from South Asia, maybe Pakistani or Indian, but I’m worried some folks might get tricked by how pushy they are. They said they needed to stop things to avoid more criminal stuff, but I’m not convinced.

01224 900036 is a scam from India, they try to get your personal info and then ask about your bank details. They’ve made it seem like a UK number but it's actually based in India, total scam. They always use English names but speak with a strong South Asian accent, and get quite rude if you question where they got your number. Just BLOCK them, even if you need to pay for something like Call Guardian. Our government really needs to do more about stopping these scammers and shut their phones down. K

If you’re using an iPhone, you can easily block annoying callers by going into Settings, then Phone, and selecting the block option. Before you do that, save the number in your contacts under a name like PEST1 or PEST2 - I’ve got around 36 of these pest numbers saved right now! After saving, just head to the Block Calls section, pick the contact you saved (like PEST1), and block them. Hopefully, this tip is useful for ya! K41

Put a block on this number back in August, after needing to get Call Guardian app. I look at my call log every day and they keep calling - I know they can't get through but seriously, why aren't the TPS or ICO sorting this out? Thank goodness for websites like this, it's good to know I'm not the only one dealing with it. I've blocked about 35 of these nuisance callers now. This number has been ringing me quite a bit over the past few days, just like a few others mentioned here. Most times I was either not home or just ignored the call. I’ve had my fair share of annoyances from UK Lifestyles back in June and even mid July.

I keep getting these calls multiple times daily and it's really annoying. I've told them a bunch of times to take me off their list and stop calling, even mentioned that cold calling is against the law. I warned them I'd report them if they didn't stop but nope, they just keep ringing me anyway. It's like they don’t care at all.

This number rang me at 8.45am today but there was total silence. Then they called again just now at 1.05pm. A lady asked for me specifically, said it was a survey. Honestly, they act like I HAVE to spare a few minutes for them. Nope, not happening! I just hung up. Absolutely cheeky.

I rang OFCOM about this too but couldn’t get through. Had about 10 silent calls today which is really annoying. If loads of people report them, OFCOM might actually do something, as there’s a £2 million fine for these types of calls. They probably think they’re untouchable. I’m thinking of buying a cheap whistle or something to try and scare them off. Fingers crossed it works, one day at a time I guess! Haha

They’ve rung me 4 times in under twelve hours. I blocked the number the first time but the call log still shows they’ve tried three more times after being blocked. A lady with an Indian accent said she was conducting a survey.

Living in India but connected to Lifestyle UK somehow. I've had calls from loads of different numbers all saying they're from the same company. They keep asking for someone else who once foolishly handed over their details to one of these rip-off firms claiming to sort out PPI claims (not me at all). So it seems that poor bloke ended up on some dodgy calling list - my number's being bombarded instead.

Got a call from some Indian guy claiming to be from UK Lifestyles, wanted me to do a survey. Said his name was John or summat like that. Told this muppet loads of times I’m not interested in his survey. Finally, I went off on him down the phone, told him plain and clear I don’t want any questions, and to stop calling me already!

Landline number 01224980036 called me twice in less than an hour. I ignored the first ring but when the same number showed again, I figured I better pick up. A woman spoke, not with a Scottish accent, and called me by my first name. I told her she must have got the wrong person, then she asked if I was related to the person she wanted. I said no, so she wanted to know who I was. When I asked her who she was, she just ended the call!

It’s the same nonsense every single day, about six calls from this “UK Lifestyle” lot. I tell them nicely I’m not interested and ask them to take me off their list, but the so-called UK Lifestyle bloke - always an Asian guy with a very British name - just ends the call. Honestly, they’re a joke. Someone needs to track these muppets down and get the authorities involved. I’m at my wit’s end. I’ve got an elderly dad who’s really unwell, and the last thing I want is this rubbish blowing up my phone every day. Someone please help!
