I received a call claiming to be from a local firm, yet they failed to mention their name. When they inquired about the type of house I reside in, I politely asked them who they represented, and they abruptly disconnected the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Today, I had an unexpected phone call from this number. Initially, I had to press quite hard to find out who was on the other end, and begrudgingly, I was informed it was a local outfit from Falkirk going by the name of Lothian Research. However, when I probed further about the nature of their business, they were rather evasive and kept reiterating their local presence, claiming they had offices 'scattered everywhere' and could help me save some cash. Now, given that I reside in Glasgow, which isn't exactly next door to Lothian or Falkirk, I found this quite puzzling. The caller just kept talking over me, completely disregarding my questions. It felt like an utter waste of my time; a classic nuisance call if ever there was one!
