I got a call from someone claiming to be local, but they never gave their company name. They wanted to know what kind of house I have, so I asked who was calling. Then, they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number earlier today. After me pushing quite a bit, they finally admitted they were from some group called Lothian Research based in Falkirk. They wouldn’t say what kind of company it was, just kept going on about being local, having loads of offices around, and that they could help me save money. Thing is, I’m in Glasgow, nowhere near Lothian or Falkirk. The caller just kept talking over me and dodging all my questions. Honestly, it felt like a proper annoyance.
