Got a call saying I owed taxes and they’d send the cops or take me to court if I didn’t pay up. They were acting like they were from HMRC but it felt fishy. Tried to ring the number back and it just wouldn’t connect. Proper scam, I reckon.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC saying they'd arrest me if I didn’t answer their questions or call them back. Total scam, just hung up and blocked the number. If you get the same, don’t even bother talking to them.

Got a dodgy voicemail that was one of those recorded messages about supposed fines for tax or legal stuff. Didn’t even bother listening properly, just deleted it and blocked the number straight away.
