When did scam calls start getting so aggressive? Had some total muppet woman shouting at me over the phone the other day - you’d expect them to be a bit smarter about it! Lately, these nuisance calls have been coming in way too often, and I honestly have no clue how they even got hold of my number. Only my close family have it saved on this phone, and I only ever ring them. Anyway, blocked the number now.

I picked up the phone and immediately this automated lady’s voice just said "goodbye" straight away. It was so annoying, felt like they were purposely hassling me.

They keep ringing from Trade Finder, trying to push adverts. Got loads of calls from various numbers all beginning with 01224 928, all saying the exact same thing. I told them the business has shut down and asked them to take my details off their list, but clearly they haven’t bothered.

Every few weeks my work phone rings from these annoying solicitors. They’re often pretty impolite if you tell them you’re not interested. The other day, one called asking for the owner, and I just said, “Let me guess, Trade Finder?” He confirmed, so I told him again to take me off their list. I’ve told them at least twenty times now. Honestly, I don’t understand what makes them believe I’d want to deal with them when they behave like that.

loads of calls coming through from loads of different numbers starting with 01224928. if i had to block all of them, id be addin like a thousand to my blacklist. really wish there was a simple way to block a whole bunch at once instead of one by one.

Got one of those annoying silent calls earlier, and then some woman just said ‘goodbye’ at the end. Looks like another load of scammers using those auto-diallers and blatantly disregarding the TPS. If you’ve got a minute, it’s worth messing with them and keeping them talking for a bit. Proper low-life scumbags, if you ask me.

Got calls from 0122492113, looks like an Indian call centre trying to pass as UK based. They said they were linked to Trade Finder and Yell. Since I'm already a Yell customer, I rang Yell to check if it was legit. Yell told me they have no connection to them and warned me not to share any info. They've called quite a few times, so now I just keep replying with "ok" to waste their time and annoy them a bit.

i’ve no mates in aberdeen and got a call from a number there. i tried ringing back using a payphone - pro tip, don’t call back on your mobile or they might just keep ringing you instead. but all i got was some automated voice saying the network i was using couldn’t connect with their service. so still clueless about who it was!
