Got a call from some AI voice about wills and LPAs. Any legit firm would already have us on the TPS list, so this had "scam" written all over it. Blocked the number straight away.

I've had enough and blocked the number. There needs to be some real way to handle these calls, laws alone don't seem to cut it if no one’s actually making sure they're followed. The TPS isn't much help in my experience, plus BT’s block list only lets you add 100 numbers, which isn't nearly enough. Reporting the nuisance calls feels pointless too, like they don’t really do anything about it.

I’m signed up with the telephone preference service, so when they called, I asked where on earth they got my number from and told them their call was against the rules. I also questioned how they were so sure it was me they were actually after. They just kept interrupting me, so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago, some bloke claiming he was from a solar company. I asked him what the company's name was since I haven’t signed up for any solar service, and he replied 'London Solar Company' right before he abruptly hung up.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a window firm and they really wanted my name. At the time, I was on another phone so told them I'd ring back. When I phoned the number they gave me, it turned out to be a place that sorts out funerals and wills. When they called me again, she tried to ignore that and kept pressing for my name. Got a call that said it was from the NHS, but they were trying to sell some kind of medical alert device you wear round your neck. The thing is, it’s supposed to alert if you fall - probably meant for elderly folks. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a phone call supposedly about outsourcing jobs, from India I think. The guy said his name was Kevin which seemed odd, especially as his English was pretty rough. The number appeared to be from Aberdeen though, which was weird. Definitely felt like an international call just killing time for everyone involved.

i keep getting calls about binary options, even tho i block the numbers and tell them to stop. they just ring me again from a different number every time! it’s so annoying.

I can’t believe it, these calls from this number keep buzzing me nearly 25 times daily. I’ve had to just switch my phone off. If this nonsense doesn’t stop soon, I’m taking it to the police, though I doubt that will actually do anything. The caller ID says: binary.

I’ve had calls from this number plus a couple of others linked to it, about 5 times all in today. When I tried ringing back, an automated voice said it was "bank to binary."
