Got a call from someone who sounded like they were overseas. They quickly rattled off my name, address, phone number, and postcode, then asked me to verify everything. When I said I wasn’t interested, they begged me to give it a go. This happened twice, and they barely let me get a word in before pushing ahead. I just ended the call. I’m registered with the TPS, so I shouldn’t be getting these kinds of calls at all.

Same here, they keep ringing over and over but hang up after just a couple of rings so when I pick up, no one’s there. It’s impossible to get through to this number. I’ve been getting calls for months from some accident claims outfit, and this sounds like the same lot. They said there was an accident involving my car a few years back and want me to make a personal injury claim - the thing is, I wasn’t in the vehicle when it was hit by the other car. So they’ve clearly got the wrong info. My guess is the claim’s been passed around or something - if they’re even legit at all.

The caller ID showed Aberdeen but the lady had a heavy Liverpudlian accent! She claimed to be from "Follow up Services" and when I asked what company she was with, she just put the phone down!
