Watch out for this. They've been ringing us constantly all day with silent calls - can't count how many times! Then, out of the blue, they ring again pretending to be some sort of nuisance call blocking company. They tried to tell my partner they needed to update his payment info. When he said he’s got no card with them, they started asking if he had a bank statement or cheque book. Pretty obvious they’re just fishing for banking info.

Heard someone else involving the police over this, which seems like a complete waste of time. Best thing to do is just ignore these calls or mess with them a bit - I usually tell them I need to fetch my husband who handles this stuff, then just leave them waiting. Got a call off a woman who definitely wasn’t local, her accent was all wrong for Aberdeen. She kept saying I was a senior citizen, which always makes me a bit uneasy.
