A few moments later, a woman with a BT accent comes on to say the caller has disconnected. Feels like they didn’t mean to hang up, maybe some glitch in their system? Someone called me and asked if I was by name, I said yes but then there was complete silence. After a bit, a recorded message from "BT" popped up saying the call was disconnected by the other party. It didn’t seem like they were trying to hang up on purpose, maybe their system just glitched or something. I checked the number and it turned out to be a plumber all the way in Scotland! I'm in Peterborough though, so I don't think it's related to me at all.
