It was all that usual nonsense, press 1 this, press 2 that, and then they just hung up. Now, I’m adding them to my ever-lengthening block list. Seriously, if these lot spent even a fraction of that energy on honest work, they’d probably be loaded and not tossing and turning at night. Bloody scammers.3 yearsThis number called me with an automated message about a suspicious £900 charge on my card. It told me to press 1 if I wanted to report it as fraud. Definately a scam!3 yearsSo I got a call from a woman claiming to be from my internet company, saying there was suspicious activity and asking if I’d installed any new software. When I tried to get her to tell me which internet provider she was from, she just kept on talking without an answer. Then I asked again more firmly, and she just cut the call.
