I suspect this call was an attempt at scamming for some sort of bogus compensation. The caller posed as a consultant and insinuated that I had been involved in a car crash recently, when in reality, I don't even drive! When I pressed her for details about how she knew this or where she'd got my number, she abruptly ended the call. I'm registered with the telephone preference service, so I'm baffled as to how she managed to reach me at all. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
