Was expecting a really important phonecall. This number rang me yesterday but no one spoke - just silence. So I called back and it turned out to be a hair salon in Aberdeen. Seems like they’re using some other person’s number because they rang again today at the same time. An Asian woman said she was from TalkTalk but I wasn’t having any of it and told her where to go. Proper annoying muppets. Have blocked the number now.

Got a call asking all sorts about my computer, seemed like they were going after old folks. Our number is on TPS and BT Call Protect, yet they kept on bothering us. Really annoying.

Was having my breakfast when the phone rang. Answered it and there was just silence for a bit before some random foreign voice came on.

i ignored the call since the area code looked unfamiliar, and now seeing what others have said, i reckon it was the right choice. i went ahead and blocked the number, but these scammers just seem to change their digits straight away. honestly, with the tech we have now, there’s not enough guarding against this sort of thing.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. When I questioned her, she just hung up on me.

This bloke said his name was Kevin and said he was ringing from Virgin Media. He told me he was looking into some broadband issues. When I asked where he was based, he just ended the call. Bit strange, innit?
