I doubt it’s really Aberdeen - probably somewhere close to Assam. These con artists create a ton of fake UK and mobile numbers on computers to ring people from all over, but mostly India or China. Best not to ring back if the number’s unfamiliar! Just text a report to 7726 like the police Action Fraud site says. Make sure you get confirmation because you might have to send the scam info again.
