I kept getting calls from this number but it hangs up just as I try to pick up. Definitely looks like spam to me.

I put up an ad on Gumtree and included my number, right? Then this annoying spammer rings me up, trying to get me to lie about some car crash. Absolute joke! Turns out the number connects to some lot of muppets way over in another country, definitely not a proper UK line. Seems like they just scrape Gumtree for any new ads with phone numbers in ’em. Proper pain in the arse.

Got a call from a telemarketer the other day. They were trying to get me to enter some prize draw by asking which room in my house I'd like to renovate. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I just got a call seconds ago and they asked for me directly by my name. Then they claimed they were from Changing Rooms or something like that! They said if I answered a few questions, I'd get entered into a free prize draw. Never heard of them before though, so I just ended the call.
