This number called me early morning around 9:30 on 13th Nov 2019 with an automated voice. The woman speaking sounded American and claimed some money would be taken from my Amazon account. She told me to press zero if I wanted to stop getting any more alerts about my account. Since I don’t have an Amazon account at all, it’s clearly a scam. Best thing to do is to just ignore and hang up like I did.

This is the third occasion I’ve been rung on different numbers, this one included! A woman asked for me by name, but the moment I asked who was calling, she just ended the call. I could hear a lot of background noise like from a call centre, so I reckon it’s probably a scam or some kind of spam.

Today, I kept getting calls where the person on the other end just hung up as soon as I picked up. It’s proper annoying! Such a hassle!
