This number is for sure Octopus Energy. The calls I got were polite and helpful. I think cold calling isn't a problem if the person hasn't blocked these calls and if they’re done the right way. So on this case, I’ll say this number is okay.

This number keeps calling me. The guy on the phone calls me by my name but I have no idea who he is. He’s used a few different numbers which I’m writing down here. Mostly calls come in the afternoon, but once on a Saturday too. I know the voice so I just end the call straight away, but it’s annoying and makes me feel uneasy. I reckon he’s figured out how to spoof the numbers.

Got a call from 01224 518830, someone called Laura claiming to be from OVO, pushing us to switch energy providers. OVO is Bristol based, so why are they using this number? When she asked for my bank info, I just hung up straight away.

Just got a ring from this number today, 11/09/2019. The person said she was with Octopus. Had almost the same call from a close number a few months ago (it’s an Aberdeen area code). When I checked with Octopus before, they said it wasn’t one of their numbers. I’ll get in touch with them again about this recent call and let you know.

I got a call from someone saying they were from an energy firm but there was loads of noise in the background so i couldnt make out what they were saying properly.
