Just to clear things up, we're not Law Room Solicitors. Our office is actually in Manchester and our phone number starts with 0161 793 6565. We've heard there’s a group pretending to be us from some offices at Campus 2 in Aberdeen, and we're on it sorting things out. This has nothing to do with us at all. Honestly, best thing to do is just block that number straight away.

this number 01224518212 rang me saying I’d made a PPI claim online. the person on the phone - said his name was Alex - wanted my dob and postcode to send some paperwork. I didnt feel right giving out my info. so i phoned the number back today and got through to someone else called Daniel. I asked which firm he worked for and he said it was Lawroom Solicitors. but when i tried to find this company in Aberdeen online, there was nothing. be careful with calls like this!

Didn’t get any voicemail or anything. After reading through the other replies, it kinda sounds like someone might be running a dodgy PPI scheme - but from an oil rig? That’s what I’m guessing. Strange place for it if true!

So this bloke called me saying I’d put in a claim for PPI and asked if I wanted to continue with it. I told him straight I’d never made any claim like that, but he kept insisting I had. There wasn’t much background noise, so I didn’t think it was a proper call centre or anything, but the whole thing felt off. He was pushing like I should be making the claim or something, so I just ended the call. Blocked the number right away!

Whenever I answer, all I get is silence. Feels like some automatic dialer is calling repeatedly. More of an annoyance than actual harassment.

Ugh, another annoying call from some number I don’t recognise. I’ve got no mates living abroad or anything. Living in Scotland, I always just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. Still, it’s really getting on my nerves as my phone won’t stop buzzing!
