Got calls twice from this number today, plus like 9 more from different ones. An American woman was saying they’d charge me some amount for Amazon Prime. I’ve blocked all the numbers now. I don’t even have Amazon Prime.

Got a recorded call earlier from British Telecom pretending to be from my local 01224 area claiming my internet would be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to arrange engineer support - obviously I didn't bother. I've had loads of these calls claiming to be BT or Talktalk recently - don't fall for it. I'm curious what they actually do if you press 1, someones gotta be cashing in on this con!

Got calls from them a few times asking about folks who lived here over a decade ago! I told em repeatedly to stop calling. Their number is on the TPS list too. Ended up blocking it.

Some guy called me from the home energy centre in glasgow but rang my aberdeen number. He was askin about what kind of energy I use, but I told him I’m not gonna answer and just hung up.

claimed to be from the "home energy centre" as well, looked it up and couldn't find anything legit. don’t think there’s one around aberdeen anyway, the guy on the phone had a scottish accent and sounded like he was joking with someone else, wasn’t very serious so i just ended the call.

This lot have rung my husband’s mobile a couple of times this week, even though we asked them to stop after the first call! Some sort of energy company or something. Properly frustrating.
