Got a call from someone claiming to be BT with a "fantastic discount" offer. They already knew stuff like my postcode and phone number, but only had my first initial and last name. When they asked what the "G" stood for, I lied and said "Bill" instead of Brian - and they just went along with it! After that, they tried to verify me by asking for my bank sort code and other details. Obviously, I didn't give it to them. They told me to call 01444 300055 back.
