Been getting calls from some bloke claiming his name’s Dave, Frank, Geoff, Colin or whatever, but his voice doesn’t fit any of those names. One even said his last name was Smith, what a load of rubbish. Usually I keep them on the line, listen to their nonsense, ask a bunch of questions then give em a piece of my mind. I’d love to find their real number or address and report them to the cops. Why don’t they just get a proper job and earn their money honestly instead of trying to con people? Total scam. Every morning, without fail, I am disturbed by persistent calls. Startled, I quickly leap out of bed, worried that there might be some kind of emergency involving a loved one. However, when I answer the call, it is either a person speaking in a language I can't understand or there is complete silence on the other end of the line. Frustratingly, the same number shows up on my call display every time I try to find out who called me by dialing 1471. Since I have recently undergone heart surgery and I'm still in the process of recovery, receiving such calls adds unnecessary stress to my life. Could someone please assist me in putting an end to these unwanted calls?
