As soon as I heard the recorded message, I knew something was off. It was a bloke with a pretty thick foreign accent claiming he was calling from my bank’s security team about dodgy activity on my account. He said £400 had been sent to Amazon and another £1250 had gone abroad to some account. Total scam, no doubt.
