Got a robo call telling me I’d signed up for Amazon Prime and to hit 1 to sort it out. I just hung up straight away cos I’ve heard about these scams before. They say if you press 1, you’ll get landed with crazy charges on a premium rate number. Loads of folks have ended up out of pocket because of it, so my tip is to never ever press 1 when one of these automated calls comes through!
