I got a call saying my internet was being used illegally and that BT would cut it off. They told me to press "1" or "2" to talk to someone about it. It's a total scam - if you press anything, you might get charged premium rates or fall victim to other scams. If you don’t press any buttons, they just end the call. It’s all done by a robot, so best just to hang up and block the number straight away.
