Got another call today (3 July 2019) from what seemed like different numbers but all the same spiel - a supposed British Telecom warning that my phone and internet would get cut off in 24 hours. They told me to hit 1 to chat with a technician, but as soon as I did, the line just went silent… wouldn’t even let me tell them where to shove it! Heard that exact message and voice loads of times now, but since I’m not even with BT, and my service is fine, it’s clear this is just another scam trying to trick folks.
